Ohio Statehouse, West Plaza (High St.); Capital Square, southeast corner Broad and High Streets; downtown Columbus, Ohio; If the weather is bad we will meet just inside the South doors of the Statehouse and proceed to the West Plaza, otherwise join us at the West Plaza just before noon.
Along with the raising of the Welsh flag over downtown Columbus is a short ceremony which includes the singing the Welsh and U.S. national anthems.

The Welsh Society of Central Ohio’s Luncheon and Annual Meeting will be held at Scioto County Club located at 2196 Riverside Drive, Columbus, OH 43221. Doors Open at 9:30am with the seminar beginning at 10am. Dan Rowbotham, Director of the Madog Center for Welsh Studies, will be the speaker. He will give a talk on “Little Cardiganshire”. The Annual Meeting will follow before lunch and singing of Welsh song.

Radnor Heritage Society is Celebrating St. David’s Day on March 1st, 2025 at 12 noon at the Radnor Community Building on SR 203 in Radnor. We will begin with a traditional Welsh meal featuring lamb, beef and a variety of sides and desserts. The program will feature the history of Radnor with slides and a talk by Becky Cornett: “Radnor: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”. Please join us for this wonderful event. We sold out last year so get your ticket as soon as they are available on the website.

St. David’s Society of Youngstown will hold its 132nd annual St. David’s Day Banquet in honor of the Patron Saint of Wales on March 1, 2025, at A La Cart Catering in Canfield, Ohio. Festivities will begin at 12:30 p.m. The Banquet is the signature event of St. David’s Society and is always held on the Saturday closest to March 1, St. David’s Day. The public is invited. The Annual St. David’s Day Dinner and Bazaar will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 serving from 4:30 to 6:00pm at Gomer congregational church.
The menu is baked steak or scalloped chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, homemade noodles, applesauce or coleslaw, rolls, and homemade desserts.
